QISH (Qatar Institute for Speech and Hearing) Arranged 4th Annual Autism Awareness Walkathon
in Al Bidaa Park on April 5th, 2019.
As a continuation of 3 previous successful events, this year’s walkathon was a demonstration of our
will to help individuals with Autism and their families by inviting all the Qatari Society to raise with us
this year slogan (Help increase understanding and acceptance).
Many VVIPs from all the Qatari society were present and extended their support to us in this Noble
cause, QISH group Chairman Sheikh Jassim Bin Thamir Al Thani inaugurated the event.
Representative from Ministry of Interior Mr. Fahad Ali Al Naimi, Mr. Majid Al Malikhi, Mr. Sawad Al
Dahab. Representative from Qatar Society for Rehabilitation, Special Needs centres, Autistic Children
and Parents, Teachers and students from Bhavans Public School, Ideal Indian School, MES Indian
School, Noble International School, Olive International School, Birla Public School, Philippine
International School, Rajagiri Public School, Shantiniketan school, Members of Care Pro, City Gym,
Family Cultural Centre, Manjappada, Q -Auto, Passion in Motion Community, SKILAB, Dragon Boat

MOPH was represented by Dr.Noof Al Siddiqi Focal Point project in charge, National Autism Plan ,
Ministry of Public Health , Qatar. Who highly appreciated the effort done by QISH throughout the
year not only during awareness programs.
